TH Technologies Sdn Bhd (THT) was incorporated in 1993. It is wholly-owned by a statutory body with diversified assets and investments in excess of RM17 billion. We started humbly in the construction industry and since our inception, we have delivered projects worth more than RM1.0 billion, generating profits for our stakeholders.

The projects include the design and construction of buildings, roads and facilities such as the Gemas Army Camp in Negeri Sembilan; Sungai Petani and PUSRAWI hospitals, in Kedah and Kuala Lumpur respectively; the Tabung Haji buildings in Johor, Selangor and Kuala Lumpur; and road works across the Peninsula. We are currently working on a RM151 million office building in Jalan Perak, Kuala Lumpur and RM42.6 million police quarters project in Subang Jaya, Selangor, both to be completed by 2010. Apart from these, we also own an equity in a company which have been awarded a 15-year concession contract for the maintenance of federal roads in the central region of Malaysia until 2016.

Our decade-long existence and the quality in our delivery has proven our ability  and strengths in what we do. Therefore, we feel ready to further diversify into another challenging territory – oil and gas (O&G). Heightened investments and a more aggressive exploration and production in the O&G industry allows for more players to come in and provide a competitive edge through the latest technology offerings, most advanced vessels and efficient crew management in this area.

Hence, in 2008, THT decided to venture into the highly intense oil and gas sector as an owner and operator of modern Anchor Handling Tug Supply vessels (AHTS). On 5 June 2008, THT signed its first Memorandum of Purchase Agreement for the construction of two units of Anchor Handling Tug and Supply Vessels (AHTS) worth RM200 mil. They are expected to be delivered in August 2010 and September 2010. Through our strong affiliations with international ship managers, our vessels are managed by reputable and experienced crew, providing world-class support and highly qualified services to potential clients, mainly the oil majors.

As part of our expansion plans and in anticipation of a more powerful outlook in the O&G sector, more units of assets with more diversified strengths are in the pipeline for year 2011-2012. Thus, marking our territory within the offshore support vessels market while we strengthen our standing in the local construction industry.
